ExoTechnologies, operating through its Glasgow-based vessel building arm Ultimate Boats, has supplied Police Scotland with a locally-built boat. This vessel is the first in a series constructed using an innovative fully recyclable composite material, intended to replace traditional FRP and carbon fibre. With a top speed of 50 knots and an operating range of 400 nautical miles, the new police boat will be showcased at the upcoming Seawork exhibition in Southampton. Police Scotland will operate the boat on loan from ExoTechnologies for a three-year period.
