Ultimate Boats, based in Glasgow and operating under the green tech startup ExoTechnologies, has successfully delivered a fully recyclable, high-performance workboat to Orbital Marine Power. This vessel, constructed from ExoTechnologies’ innovative DANU composite material, is designed to support the operations of Orbital Marine Power’s O2 tidal turbine off Orkney, which is recognised as the world’s most powerful tidal turbine. The workboat will primarily be used to transport engineers to and from the turbine, facilitating the maintenance and operation of this significant renewable energy project.
