This 11m vessel, owned by ExoTechnologies, showcases cutting-edge design and recycling efficiency, marking a significant leap forward in maritime innovation. The culmination of a £7 million investment in research and development, the boat represents the first of a new range built at Ultimate Boats, with plans to create 300 jobs within five years. Crafted from the innovative DANU™ composite material, known for its superior mechanical strength and sustainability, the boat boasts a top speed of 50 knots and an operating range of 400 nautical miles. ExoTechnologies CEO Shane Mugan emphasized the boat’s revolutionary impact on boat building, highlighting its shock mitigation, stability, and recyclability. Renowned designer John Moxley also shared insights into the boat’s aerodynamic design, underscoring the meticulous craftsmanship behind its creation.
