A chance meeting on a chair lift while skiing in Colorado has brought together a former US Navy rear admiral and an Irish business recovery consultant to create a UK tech firm developing a fully recyclable and bullet-proof powerboat for a government agency.
The boat is being assembled in the UK using an innovative new hull design and composite material made by Isle of Man-based ExoTechnologies, led by founder and chief executive Shane Mugan, 48.
